* Regulates the Spleen and Stomach - gastric pain, vomiting, borborygmus, abdominal pain, epigastric pain, dysentery, enteritis, morning sickness, nausea, Invasion of Spleen by the Liver, food poisoning


* Invigorates the Yang of the Spleen - fatigue, swollen face

* Regulates the Chong Mai - Promotes the Flow of Qi in the Spleen - endometriosis, irregular menstruation, fibroids, ovarian cysts, dysmenorrhea, painful injury to testicles, cardiac pain, angina, enlarged heart, heart congestion, excess flow of blood to heart, shen disturbances, agitation, nervousness 

* Promotes the Flow of Qi in Spleen - food retention, intestines hard like a drum with abdominal pain, pain due to obstruction, stabbing pain in intestines, ascites, vomiting foul food, intestinal hemorrhage
