* Regulates Function of Intestines - abdominal pain, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, vomiting, food retention, borborygmus, diarrhea in children, abdominal distention, enteritis, intestinal paralysis, gastritis, appendicitis, intestinal ascariasis, constipation in infants, constipation with rectal distention


* Regulates Qi and Eliminates Stagnation - vomiting or diarrhea (can cup), endometriosis, low back pain, leukorrhea, sterility in women, retention of urine, round worm in intestinal tract, ascites not affected by food or drink, acute eye problems, sudden eyesight decline, glaucoma

* Promotes Circulation of Blood - dysmenorrhea (can cup), irregular menstruation, peritonitis, vaginal discharge with blood, pain around umbilicus and below umbilicus

* Regulates Nutrient and Defensive Qi (Yuan Qi and Wei Qi) -(connects upper and lower warmers - pre and postnatal Qi) - alternating cold and heat, edema, weariness, frightened, weakness
