* Drains Heat from the Blood - febrile diseases, irritability, heat exhaustion, irritability and fullness, thirst, dry mouth, measles, chorea, perspiration of head and neck, Ying Stage Heat


* Regulates the Intestines and Clears Damp Heat - 
gastric pain, acute gastroenteritis, enteritis, diarrhea with vomiting, rebellious Qi, stomach painful, morning sickness, cholera

* Clears Obstructions in the Channels - pain in elbow and arm, tremor of arm or hand, Parkinson’s Disease, bronchitis, sterility, neuralgia of upper arm, hemiplegia, autonomic nervous disorders, thumb pain (ipsolateral -Tan)
