Coolidge Corner Acupuncture in Brookline is offering a 50% discount on acupuncture services to Veterans of the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that have ongoing issues from injuries or post-traumatic stress disorder. Our Veterans in these conflicts have done all we have asked them and more and deserve our gratitude for their service in very difficult and dangerous situations.

Our Veterans Administration has not provided sufficient aftercare and support for our injured Veterans or denied service to those without full honorable discharges due to issues related to PTSD. This offer or services provided are not  connected to the Veterans Administration and all treatment information will be held in strict confidence.

Acupuncture has been shown to be an effective treatment in muscular and soft tissue injuries and can reduce or eliminate pain or numbness and increase mobility.

Additionally, acupuncture can be of immense help in the reduction of stress and treatment of insomnia and anxiety. Acupuncture has been used for PTSD complaints in the aftermaths of Katrina  and the World Trade Center bombings. Acupuncture was used to treat fire fighters during the aftermath of the 9/11 bombings in New York and was so successful that treatments are provided to this date in all NY Fire Department stations for relieving stresses from being an emergency respondent.
